Brendan has been a dedicated member of the firm since 2012 after working his way through college in the service industry. A committed member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA), Brendan brings a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices. He has used his experience working in hotels, restaurants and bars to better serve and understand our service industry clients. With expertise in financial reporting, audit procedures, and tax compliance, he is adept at delivering insightful financial solutions that support organizational success. Brendan is passionate about leveraging his skills to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Following his graduation from the University of Connecticut, Brendan embarked on his professional journey while simultaneously starting his family. He cherishes quality time with his wife, Shealyn, and their two wonderful children. Brendan is deeply engaged in Scouting, having achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in his youth. He now serves as a Cubmaster for his daughter’s Cub Scout Pack and Assistant Scoutmaster for his son’s Scout Troop, fostering a love for the outdoors and community service in the next generation.
Brendan is a proud father who delights in sharing stories of his children’s impressive performances in hockey and gymnastics, often highlighting how these activities fill his free time with joy and excitement. In addition to being an active supporter of their sports, he dedicates his spring season to volunteering as a baseball coach for his son’s local Little League team, where he fosters teamwork and a love for the game in young athletes.
